Sakura Science Exchange Program 2026

This week-long academic exchange, hosted by Professor Kohei Makita, focused on strengthening Bangladesh–Japan collaboration in AMR and Food Safety research. A five-member delegation from OBSR participated in intensive training on Bayesian statistics, epidemiological modeling, and risk assessment at the WOAH Collaborating Centre. The program concluded with a presentation of research findings and a global webinar on addressing antimicrobial resistance in resource-limited settings.
